never replace a water pump on an outboard without using it on the stainless bolts!!! number one reason the bolts break off....

i use locke tite brand, get it at Fastenall for about $15 for a lifetime supply.

not really a problem if you use the never seize. it actually contains powdered alum, copper and graphite in a petroleum base (Silver Seize), so it eliminates corrosion. there's other colors of it for diff applications....

Well hell, I have been busy. I built a complete front desk in this pig, and didn't use any wood. none. It all aluminimum. 1\4" rivet's and stainless screws. The promise of unfished water is an attraction most fishers can't resist. I was lucky enuff to fish farm 13 and the stick marsh for over a year before it was "opened".

of course we had to had to jump the dyke, in a jacked up gheenoe with a 40hp yamaha...

im working on the "here fishy fishy" i got for $700 bucks. putting in a new front deck and wireing for the trolling motor. doing it with all aluminum, no wood. looks like it will be awesome, lipstick on a pig.

son in law has his 13HP for sale on let go. just built it, new engine and SS prop. Pavo Georgia.

im getting too old to run mine, so i told him if he finds me a 25 electric start i'll give it to him.

I do love the damn thing tho...best motor i've ever had.

Figuring out the exhaust stacks now. get it all fitted, pull it back apart and off to paint the frame.

This fawker is fat, full of juice. Tranny built for 1500 FPT, motor about 700hp, 1150 fpt.

Engine is back. Machinest thought it was a joke. Said the block still had hatches in the cyls. New firerings, bearings etc. Going back together now. tranny is built and ready to go. Body is going to body for filler and sanding them off to paint. Getting ready to come together... Engine had 200K mile...
